Artist Spotlight - Taryn Hadyu

Taryn Haydu is a 17-year-old female lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who has been shredding on guitar for six years. She is currently the lead guitarist for an alternative rock band called the Side Chicks based out of Southern California. Prior to playing for the Side Chicks, Taryn organized and played lead guitar and lead vocals for an all-female Orange County alternative rock and nu metal band called Epiphany playing at local popular establishments such as Chain Reaction and the House of Blues. This past April of 2024, Taryn had the opportunity to play lead guitar in the Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp Hollywood. She played on stage at some of the most well renowned live music establishments like the Whisky a Go Go and the Viper Room with famous musicians Nick Hexum from 311, “Noodles” from The Offspring and Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Taryn is endorsed by Tagima Guitars USA and is spotlighted as an upcoming female artist. She demoed her Tagima guitar at the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) booth in Anaheim, California this past January of 2024. Taryn was accepted into the Guitar Performance and Music Business program at Musicians Institute Hollywood this Fall and will be attending school in the heart of Hollywood. She’s excited for what the future holds and to be a part of the Quilter family of artists.
