MicroPro Series

The Quilter MicroPro Series is the ultimate weight to power workhorse. Great for when you need big volume and incredible tube-like tone but don't want to have to heft your heavy amp. Modular in construction, they are designed to fit with and work with any of the accessories to give you a modular "stacking" rig capable of massive volume when you need it.

The MicroPro Mach 2 8 Inch ($899 USD)

MicroPro 200-8, 8” Celestion 100 Watts/CH, 19 pounds, 14.5”x17.5“x9.75”, Sealed Enclosure

For those who want the lightest, most flexible amp on the planet, our pro-audio 8-inch speaker and sealed cabinet deliver a full bodied, natural sound that works with any guitar, and punches well above its weight class. This is our top choice for clean vocals and auxiliary input tracks. The 8-inch speaker has several advantages. Since it is a pro audio speaker it has a much higher extension into the upper range and is quite articulate. (Don't confuse this with harshness, it is a warm and open sound.) It has the widest angle of dispersion (130 degrees) and you can hear it quite well sitting on the floor with only a couple of feet between you and the amplifier. The sealed enclosure provides a very nice low end extension and it often surprises people the first time they experience it. The 8-inch is the right choice if you also plan to use it with an acoustic and microphone.

The MicroPro 200-10 ($949 USD)

MicroPro 200-10, 10” G10 Vintage100 Watts/CH, 21 pounds, 19”x17.5“x9.75”, Sealed Enclosure

The guitar-oriented 10-inch speaker produces a warm chewy midrange that can tame a bright instrument or “butter over” mild breakup. The fat vintage sound is excellent for traditional blues or jazz, and the 10” moves more air, for greater volume with a minimal weight gain. The 10-inch speaker has a mellower upper end energy which provides a distinctly mellow sound. With a 110 degree dispersion patter, you will have to take a step or two out front to hear it when on the floor. It has a more full low frequency energy than the 8-inch.

The MicroPro 200-12 ($999 USD)

MicroPro 200-12, 12” Classic Lead 80100 Watts/CH, 26 pounds, 19”x17.5“x9.75”, Sealed Enclosure

The guitar-oriented 12” speaker provides maximum bark and bite for rock and power blues with plenty of in-your-face attitude. Great for lead, clean, or anywhere in between, it is the loudest available choice for those who want unbelievable power from a small box. With a 90 degree dispersion pattern, you will want to take a few steps away to hear it well on stage. The power is fairly unequaled in a combo of almost any size and the tone is incredible from such a small package. The high frequency energy is fairly rolled off, so it is not the optimum choice if you also plan to use it with an acoustic guitar and vocals.

The MicroPro 200 Heavy Duty 12 ($1,199 USD)

MicroPro 200-12, 12” BN12-300s Heavy Duty speaker 100 Watts/CH, 21 pounds, 19”x17.5“x9.75”, Sealed Enclosure

The HD (Heavy Duty) 12” speaker is a testament to the pinnacle of speaker technology. Incredible depth, beautiful frequency extension throughout all ranges, the only thing you will miss is the speaker breakup and cone cry inherent in most speakers especially at serious volume. You won't lack for clarity or presence with a MicroPro Mach 2 12" HD but you will lack for weight. Developed in response to Quilter Artist Gino Matteo's quest for an EVM-12L tone in a lightweight package, this amplifier exceeds that and more. If you love powerful and responsive tone from an unyieldingly powerful source, this is your huckleberry. We would like to tell you it is best for Jazz or Blues or Rock musicians, but it seems that everyone who tries it gets bowled over by the incredible power and tone.

The MicroPro Extension ($399 USD)

MicroPro 200-Extension, 12” Classic Lead 8030 pounds, 18.5”x17.8“x10.5”, Sealed Enclosure

The same 12-inch guitar speaker is mounted in a larger chamber for deeper bass, especially when placed under a combo. The molded bumpers mate to form a sleek and stable “Micro Stack”. A Micropro-8 on top of the Extension provides a particularly magical combination of depth and dimensionality, whereas a 12-on-12 is just plain lethal!

The MicroPro Heavy Duty Extension ($599 USD)

MicroPro 200-Extension, 12" BN12-300s Heavy Duty speaker 25 pounds, 18.5”x17.8“x10.5”, Sealed Enclosure

The Celestion Heavy Duty 12" Neodymium speaker might have "heavy" in the title, but the extension is anything but heavy.

The MicroPro Head ($699 USD)

MicroPro 200-Head, 100 Watts/Ch, 7 Pounds, 4.5”x17.5”x7.6”

The Micropro Head provides all of the incredible performance and versatile features of the Micropro Series, in a suitcase friendly package that brings out the best in almost any existing speaker. Great for fly dates!
