DL Edwards aka Church Guitarist is an accomplished musician.  Starting off earlier in life as a keyboardist he’s had the opportunity to play for some of gospel's biggest names as well as tour across the country. A few years ago he transitioned to playing the guitar and it seems to be one of his best decisions ever. Since picking up the guitar he’s been featured on countless CDs and singles including producing songs on various projects.  He is currently the lead guitar player for 90s R&B sensation Club Nouveau and Jay King and has enjoyed touring in the R&B world opening for Frankie Beverly and Maze, playing with Howard Hewitt and many others.  He also has played at the world-famous Blue Note in Napa California with Jazz Artist Mark Allen Felton  and one day wants to pursue a career in smooth jazz. Understanding that this was a quantum leap as it relates to changing instruments he commits to more that 4 hours a day in practicing his instrument hoping one day to be standing alongside some of the worlds best players.  

DL has also embarked upon teaching guitar at a beginner level in 2019 starting a private youtube page Called Thee Church Guitarist Club where over 1500 guitarists from across the country connect for advice and guitar tips on a weekly basis.  His social media presence is even bigger with most months garnering him more that 20k hours of view time on YouTube and Facebook Live.
