Ernie "The Mayor" Ecraela started his career at the tender age of 13, when he opted on bass so he could join a friends blues trio. Since then he's been in high demand in the Honolulu music scene and beyond playing with legendary local bands like Mono Trio, Spooky Couch, G. Love & Special Sauce, Jack Johnson, Bernard Purdie, George Porter Jr. and the Na Hoku Hanohano music award winning Amanda Frazier and the Keepers. Nowadays you can catch him on tour with Ron Artis II & The Truth playing shows and festivals all over the United States and beyond.
