Russell Pzutto born and raised in NYC is a professional musician and one of the most sought out bass players in the Northeast.
He worked with renewed Atlantic Records artist, Twisted Sister, as an understudy for the bassist Mark “Animal” Mendoza and now is a permanent bassist for Dee Snider solo band. Russell is currently touring the world in the campaign for the Album “For The Love of Metal”, Napalm Records.
Russell is also the bassist with Razor Ice Records recording artist REVERENCE, that contains members of Savatage ,Tokyo Bladeand Metal Church…
Growing up Russell was greatly influenced by rock music and such players as John Paul Jones, Glenn Hughes, Bob Daisley, and Jaco Pastorius, that led him to pursue career as a musician and eventually made him to become a prodigious bass player. It brought him into acts like Scarecrow, a Goth metal with members including Eddie “Fingers” Ojeda of Twisted Sister.
Over the scope of 25 years Russell Pzutto has done pro recordings, performed and shared stages with national artists such as Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Stryper, Geoff Tate, Kip Winger and many more. He has been a versatile musician with a strong passion for bass who also plays guitar and drums. He has traveled the globe playing different styles of music along the sides of the most talented musicians and giving unforgettable performances for crowds, reaching up to a hundred thousand people at various arenas and festivals.
Television broadcasts include musical talant show “Who Will Rock You” on Top Golf Network, hosted by Dee Snider and Kerrie Kasem, performances on Fox and Friends summer concert series, Fox News Network and many others.
