Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center is a family-owned and operated music instrument and equipment store located in Wheaton, MD. We are one of the largest single-location musical instrument stores in the United States and the largest servicing the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
Although we started as a small mom-and-pop shop 1227 H. St NE, Washington D.C., we now occupy four warehouses and two showroom buildings with four on-site repair shops and a dedicated event space. Our main building houses six of our seven sales departments: Accessories, Bandsales, Drums & Percussion, Guitars and Keyboards. We've dedicated an entire building to our Pro Sound, DJ & Lighting department to provide a complete solution for studio, stage and venue audio visual needs.
Our professional repair technicians are certified to service woodwind and brass instruments, guitars and basses, orchestral strings, drums and electronic gear.
Marcus Miller, Peter Erskine, Ron Carter, Stanton Moore, Pat Martino, Doc Severinsen and James Morrison are just a few of the people to grace the stage of our newly-renovated clinic room. It is the perfect setting for meet-and-greets, clinics, demonstrations, workshops and master classes.
We have deep roots within the D.C. Metro Music Community dating back to 1958 and continue to support music both locally and globally to this day. We celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2018 and our commitment to music and our customers has never been stronger.
We treat our customers like family. From your first musical instrument purchase to your last and every step along the journey, we are here to provide guidance, advice and of course the best pricing on equipment in the industry.
We at Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center look forward to welcoming you into the family.
