The Guitar Shop started as Unlimited Sound, Inc. in 1997 as a Sound Installation company providing installation of sound reinforcement equipment to hotels, businesses and carnival krewes in an around the New Orleans area. 

In 2005 the owner of Unlimited Sound, Jay Bouche', and local attorney Kevin Gipson joined together to open a long lost entity:
