Need to get a great bass sound at a gig where you also have to control the volume? This is it! It weighs nothing, sounds great, and can get surprisingly loud though it's forte is sounding great at controlled volumes.

Kind of glad my headphone amp wore out. This does the same thing as far as mixing a music player or whatever in with the bass. It sounds way better though. With fairly decent phones it sounds as good as you could want. That output could also be a line level to a PA or recording console. Plus it has a 45 watt amp built in. Not enough for a gig, but with a dinky Bose speaker it’s as loud as an acoustic guitar and a voice. It drives a single JBL D140F loud enough to rehearse with a Hammond, a couple guitars, sax, drums, and a few voices in a small PA. I can see I will use this a lot, several different ways. Well worth the price.
